For more than 40 years, Dr. Steven Colwell served the Lexington community with professional eye care at Optometric Associates. When he decided to transition towards retirement, he sought a clinician who shared his patient-centric values and clinical focus.
In 2022, Dr. Regina Callihan took over the baton and founded Eyes on Lex. Transitioning records to our current location at 2465B Nicholasville Road, we continue to serve patient families with the exact same commitment to medical rigor, but in a refreshed, modern boutique environment.
As a born-and-raised Kentuckian, Dr. Callihan brings a deep love of the Central Kentucky region and 19 years of expertise. We are privately and locally owned—which means we answer to our patients, not corporate vision conglomerates.
